Mountain Dew and Other Brands Use Extreme Sports to Connect with Gen Y


     
    In the past, the marketers have many ways to promote their products and service. Moreover, many company use sponsorships and promotional to deal with sport such as football, soccer, basketball, baseball, golf, tennis, and etc.

     According to Mountain Dew and other brands use extreme sports to connect with Gen Y that from a marketing perspective, Mountain Dew was founding sponsors of the Extreme Games and Extreme sports to signed partnerships with action sport even before the company competitions began.

    For example, Mountain Dew is a soft drink product and sponsorship of individual athletes who participate in professional action sports has been a part of the Mountain Dew brand with present sponsorship including skateboarder for persuade and attract of customers interest in Extreme sports.

   Moreover, other brands have accepted Mountain Dew have signed sponsors of Dew Action Sports Tour (DAST) that including Panasonic, Vans, Toyota, Gillette Right Guard, and Sony Play station.

    So, promotional for the sales that there are several ways and the target of customers are important to marketing such as age, gender, interested of customers. Moreover, advertising also important in order to attract commercial customers.
